Tall boots are one of the many fall essentials. I purchased these grey snake pattern boots from Nordstrom last year. I was one of the many women who saw the images from the movie Queen and Slim and fell in love with the calf-length snakeskin boots worn by Jodie Turner-Smith in the movie. Those eye-catching boots were from the brand Brother Vellies, a sustainable African footwear brand founded by the Black female designer Aurora James. The Queen Beyonce herself even wore these $750 boots.
Not wanting to splurge on a boot with such a standout pattern I purchased these Steve Madden boots on sale. Their current price on the Steve Madden site is $174.95. I purchased them for $80 during the holiday season. I can imagine they will probably go on sale again towards the end of the year. Definitely try to keep an eye out!
