If there is one thing that is constantly in my basket at Sephora.com its this Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream. According to the brand, one of these Vegan-moisturizers is sold every 28 seconds at Sephora and I’m not surprised. I started using this moisturizer last year because it stated it smooths out the appearance of cellulite. To be completely transparent, I unfortunately like most women have a little bit of cellulite. We all know there is no real way to get rid of cellulite completely unless maybe you go to one of the Kardashians doctors but for the average woman, cellulite is very difficult to get rid of. What I love about this moisturizer is with frequent use I saw a difference in my skin quickly. This cream tightens skin with a combination of caffeine-infused guaraná (a Brazilian plant), hydrating coconut oil, antioxidant-rich açaí, and cupuaçu butter – which comes from a tree found in the tropical rainforest. All of these ingredients work together to lock in moisture. I mentioned in a past post about my journey with Dry Brushing, the combination of Dry Brushing, and this moisturizer is a game changer!
One thing I have to say is consistency is the key with this product. There was a moment I stopped using it and started to see a completely different texture in my skin. So, of course, I ran to Sephora.com to “Add To Cart” ASAP. One other aspect of Bum Bum that I love is the smell. It has the most amazing coconut smell that isn’t overbearing but reminds me of summer at the beach. Although this cream is called “Bum Bum” its not only for that particular body part. I mostly use it on my thighs and bum bum haha. I recommend this for anyone who wants to smooth out certain body parts! If you want to test it out Sephora sells a mini size (2.5oz) for $20. The larger 8.1 oz size is sold for $45.
