I definitely have a love-hate relationship with shapewear. In the past, it was difficult to find shapewear that provides smooth lines but also doesn’t make you feel like you can barely breathe. Not to mention how difficult they can be to put on and take off.
When Skims launched in 2019 what initially piqued my interest was the variety of shades their shapewear comes in. Being a brown skin woman it was annoying to only see shapewear in either black or a cream shade. The cocoa brown shade of their shapewear goes great with my skin tone. I also purchased their Sculpting bra which is one of my favorite pieces. Goes great with my skin tone and it’s so comfortable to wear when you don’t want to wear your real deal bra.
