After a less than stellar summer last year we’re all ready to have the #vaxxedgirlsummer we all have been craving. With many mask mandates lifted we may now actually be able to rock our favorite summer lip colors. Wearing makeup in the summer can sort of a drag with all of the heat and humidity. That’s why having fun lips colors can add wonders to your summertime vibe.
Below are a few of my favorite shares for Summer.
MAC HEROINE – This is one of MAC’s most popular shades. Its bright purple hue looks great on so many skin tones and amps up any look.
Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Saw C – This tangerine-colored matte lipstick is perfect for a fun vacation. It’s definitely a color that looks amazing on darker skin tones. I always have this color in my makeup bag when I go on vacation. All Fenty Mattemoiselle shades are currently on sale at Sephora.com.
MAC Velvet Punch This shade is part of MAC’s Powder Kiss Lipstick collection. It’s a fun bright Fuschia shade that’s perfect for summer. I love this collection because it’s weightless and provides a moisturized matte finish.
KYLIE Cosmetics “Okuuur” — We all have no clue whats currently going on with Kylie Jenners makeup line but I did want to share one of my fave shades from her liquid lipstick line. Its a burnt orange that is very matte and literally won’t move off your lips completely unless you use a makeup wipe. I thought I would share just in case Kylie Cosmetics comes back this year.
